Enhance your mental well-being with metabolic psychiatry strategies - a specialized approach that integrates metabolic interventions, such as ketogenic diets, to improve mental health. By stabilizing blood sugar, reducing inflammation, and promoting neuroprotection, ketogenic diets may offer significant benefits for managing conditions like anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD.

A one-hour initial assessment will be conducted to explore your specific need and mental health goals. From there, a personalized plan will be developed to facilitate your transition to a ketogenic diet. Weekly follow-up sessions of 30 minutes to 1-hour are recommended for the first few weeks to provide continuous support and guidance.

For over a decade, I have dedicated my practice to delivering behavioral-based interventions, primarily utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for clients facing various mental health concerns.

 

DBT is a structured therapeutic approach that combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, empowering clients to regulate their emotions, enhance interpersonal relationships, and develop distress tolerance skills. Through DBT, clients learn to embrace acceptance while facilitating meaningful change, making it particularly effective for those grappling with intense emotions and interpersonal challenges.

In contrast, ACT emphasizes the importance of accepting thoughts and feelings while committing to actions that align with personal values. This therapeutic approach encourages individuals to create a meaningful life by ensuring that their actions reflect their core values, even in the face of psychological distress. By fostering psychological flexibility, ACT empowers clients to break free from unhelpful patterns and cultivate resilience.

I integrate both DBT and ACT into my practice, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual. For new clients seeking support, I provide a collaborative environment where they can explore their challenges and work toward their goals with compassion and understanding.
